Introduction Level: 6 X 1.5 hour classes + 1 X 1/2 hour Private Lesson @ $260. (max. 4 students per class)
Intermediate Level: 6 X 1.5 hour classes + 1 X 1 hour Private Lesson @ $260. (max. 4 students per class)
Advanced Level: 6 X 75 minute classes @ $350. (1 - 2 students per class)
Private Lessons: For Advanced & Expert students only. Available by appointment 6 X 1 hour classes @ $300.

Summer Semester (June - September 2010):
Introduction to DJing - A 6 week comprehensive introduction course covering all the basics of mixing/scratching and use of equipment. This course is designed for the beginner who has little to no experience on the turntables. The main focus of "Introduction to DJing" is to develop hand skills, basic music theory, and experiment with different ways of playing with sound on the turntables. This course is also a good way to test out the equipment before spending a lot of money.

Intermediate DJing - This 6 week course is built on the basics of mixing & scratching learned in the Intro course, but places them within the context of set development. Some notable differences in format are that you'll be given one on one time to hone in on specific skills and aspects of the art that you choose to develop. You'll also start crafting an idea of your musical style/character, meaning you'll begin to explore mixing with different genres and selecting a musical style that suits you. The 6 week session leads towards creating a 10 minute set which each of you will perform on the final class.
